Last Chance Ranch Agate
Last Chance Ranch Agate, located in what would appear to be the middle of nowhere in Emery County, Utah, is one of the many sites we visited on our drive from Oregon to the East Coast back in 2022. Not much is written on this material, so its formation is a bit of a mystery, but what it lacks in lore it makes up for in quantity. When we arrived on the scene we found ourselves surrounded by agate. Colorful chalcedony in red, yellow, and purple, was everywhere we looked. After spending half an hour collecting we had over a hundred pounds of material, some of which bore some incredible banding.

2 Set Budget & timeline
Confer with one of our master metalsmiths on how much the piece will cost, and how long it will take to craft.
3 Pay Deposit
Pay the 50% deposit on your piece.
4 Albus Agate creates piece
Patiently wait for Albus to lovingly create your piece.
5 Receive Piece
Once you pay the remainder of your deposit we will ship you your piece!

How much does it cost to get a custom?
Each of our customs is priced based on material cost and the time it takes to craft them. The more silver required for the piece, the rarity of the lapidary material, and the intricacy of the design, are all factors that can raise the price of a custom piece. Our prices generally range from $50-$250.
How long does it take?
We typically take 2-4 weeks to handmake custom pieces, and will let you know if ahead of ordering if we have a long backlog of custom work that will delay the piece any further than that.
