Fire Agate Ring

This split shank silver ring features a cabochon of Fire Agate from Saddle Mountain, Arizona. This material formed when geysers filled vugs in porous igneous rock with silica-rich water, which over time formed layers of agate rich with difference trace elements, resulting in the vivid banding.
