Here we have an arrow cabochon of Ochoco “Red” Jasper from Crook County, Oregon, situated on a sterling silver band with a panoramic depiction of the Ochoco Mountains, the range from which this material hails. Most of the material we found at this location in Oregon was blue, so we named it Ochoco Blue Jasper. Here and there we would cut pieces to find hints of red and yellow. This piece is the largest cut of red we ever found, so we decided to give it an honorary placement on this weighty ring.
